2009 - Cuttings 130th Anniversary
Cuttings arrives strong and well at it's 130th Anniversary and has built "A History of Modern Ideas"
From it's humble beginnings in 1879 as a steeplejack company, Cuttings has gone from strength to strength. In 1946 it decided to specialise in Lightning Protection and was one of four founder members of our trade association ATLAS. It saw in the Brtish Standard BS6651:1985, and has now welcomed its replacement - BSEN62305:2006
The company has remained at the forefront of the Lightning Protection industry with Director John Jolly residing on the ATLAS Council and the Lightning Protection Technical Committee.
Our client base continues to expand and new technologies are continually being intoduced.
